One thing I want to see is more opportunities for young people growing up in communities like ours. Not everyone wants to go to university, nor should they have to. That’s why I’ve championed technical education, apprenticeships and new routes into skilled work.
I want young people in Winstanley to have access to high-quality training and good local jobs so they can build successful futures without feeling they have to leave the area they love.
Protecting Our Community
What stands out most about Winstanley is its community spirit – people look out for one another. Local organisations make a difference. Families put down roots here and stay for generations. That’s something worth protecting.
As our area changes, we need to make sure investment strengthens communities rather than weakening them. The future of Winstanley should be built on the same values that have always made it such a great place to live.
